Toni Buckby is a Sheffield based artist working with fine embroidery, drawing and digital making. Her practice explores the making process and her work is constructed from small, repetitive components with which she build complex structures.
Toni is currently working on a series of large embroidery pieces (keeping a meticulous video record of their production) and is also researching the potential of using embroidery patterns as visual coding.
