As a participatory artist, I magnify and expand textile processes, utilising accessible materials to engage audiences. With a focus on simple repetitive actions, my work invites the public to co-produce temporal artwork. Long fascinated by the immersive qualities of textile making, I seek to capture experiences of flow and utilise tools that enable participants’ experiences to be collected and interpreted, from physical feedback forms to coding. Most recently I have been exploring biometric feedback mechanisms as a way of producing usable live data for artistic interpretation, through which participant experiences could be shared visually and simultaneously.
